Rhian
Rhian Salmon worked as Education & Outreach Coordinator for the International Polar Year from 2006 - 2009. Prior to this she worked as a scientist for the British Antarctic Survey (2002 - 2006), including one winter and three summers at Halley Research Station, Antarctica. She has a PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry from York University, Canada (1997 - 2002), and a BSc in Chemistry from Leeds University, UK (1993 - 1997). She now enjoys a range of freelance work including consulting, writing, teaching, and scrubbing.
